'Car Sales His Forte' -- Mike Gaschel of Sawyer Automotive Mike Gaschel has been in car sales since 1965 when Chevy Impalas and Caprices ruled the market. Mike remembers that getting started in sales was tough and you needed to create a following. Mike has maintained his following due to the unique style of personal attention he gives each and every customer; it's what keeps the referrals flowing and consumer confidence intact. In his career Mike has been fortunate to earn many distinguished sales awards and certificates. He is a member of an elite fraternity of automobile sales professionals. In 1979 through 1980, he earned the title "leading Passenger Car Salesman" and "Leading Truck Salesman" over 350 Chevy dealerships in these sales categories. He has marked the years in-between with stellar sales figures and consistently scores above 93 out of 100 on product knowledge tests. Mike started out at Rhinebeck Chevrolet where he was for many years until the recent passing of its founder. Last year he joined Sawyer Automotive located on Route 9W in Catskill NY, owned by brothers Bob and Larry Siracusano. Bob's daughter Macy Siracusano manages the new dealership.
