Catskill's newest car dealership is a blast from the past!They celebrated their grand opening in July 2006. General Manager Macy Siracusano is looking to bring your car buying experience to a whole new level as you enjoy the nostalgia that surrounds you. Sawyer Automotive is no ordinary used car lot, but a step back in time to an era of hot rods and juke boxes, with a retro '50s look and feel. The new dealership is located on Route 9W in Catskill just north of the village. When they purchased the property, the Siracusano family gutted the entire building and completely revamped it. "We changed literally everything here, including an all new exterior and interior on the building," said Bob Siracusano, who is co-owner of the Sawyer chain of car dealerships along with his brother Larry. "We designed it to look like a '50s diner because that's what we have in our Saugerites dealership. I love the 50's theme and I thought it would be great to have a dealership that revolves around that theme." The entire facility reflects the 1950's, from the black-and-white tiles on the floor to the old-fashioned diner booths and the juke box in the corner. "This ia a state-of-the-art dealership with a retro look," said co-owner Larry Siracusano. Macy Siracusano, the dealership's general manager is ready and willing to help you with your vehicle needs.
